This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed with Zipforge and forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Service Area

Zipforge currently offers its services exclusively within the European Union / Common European Market (EEA). Orders with shipping addresses outside this region are not accepted.

2. Nature of the Service

Zipforge provides custom zipper installation and alteration services. As this is a service performed on customer-owned items, shipping is an essential part of the process.

3. Shipping to Zipforge (Inbound Shipping)

  • Customers are responsible for shipping their items to the Zipforge workshop.
  • The cost of shipping to Zipforge is not included in the order price.
  • Customers may choose their preferred shipping provider for inbound shipments.
  • Zipforge is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage occurring during inbound shipping.

Customers are strongly advised to:

  • Use a tracked and insured shipping service
  • Ensure proper packaging to protect the item during transit
  • Follow the packaging instructions provided after placing the order, which are designed to ensure safe transport and minimise creasing or deformation of wetsuits and similar garments

4. Return Shipping from Zipforge (Outbound Shipping)

  • Return shipping costs are paid by the customer at the time of placing the order.
  • The return shipping price is automatically calculated based on the customer’s shipping location and selected during checkout.
  • Zipforge ships completed items only to the address provided in the order.

5. Shipping Providers and Delivery Times

  • Zipforge uses reputable shipping providers within the EU.
  • Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed.
  • Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country, carrier performance, public holidays, or customs checks (where applicable within the EU).

6. Risk of Loss and Damage (Outbound)

  • Risk of loss or damage to the item passes to the customer once the item has been handed over to the shipping carrier.
  • Zipforge is not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by the shipping provider.

7. Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Information

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping details.
  • Any additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information (e.g. re-shipping fees) will be charged to the customer.

8. Failed or Returned Deliveries

If a shipment is returned to Zipforge due to:

  • Failed delivery attempts
  • Incorrect address information
  • Refusal of delivery

The customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs required to resend the item.

9. Customs and Duties

  • As Zipforge operates within the EU, shipments within the Common European Market generally do not incur customs duties.
  • If customs charges arise due to exceptional circumstances, these costs are the responsibility of the customer.
